Recognition

Overview
Recognition is a type of currency that can be used to obtain Upgrades, Devices, Travel Powers, Mods, and Costumes by completng missions and defeating mobs. It was introduced during the On Alert update.
Earning Recognition
There are three main sources for earning Recognition; drops from defeating mobs, open mission rewards and mission rewards.
Some missions will offer Recognition as rewards along with experience and resources, while others will offer you a choice between the mission reward and the recognition.
Tiers
Recognition is split up into 4 tiers and it is awarded based on the level and location of mobs. For example, you can only earn MCPD (Millennium City Police Department) Recognition from Level 1-15 Enemies and Missions and Silver Champion Recognition is only awarded for Level 40 Lairs, their missions and UNITY Missions.

Rewards
Each type of Recognition has its own vendor. Vendors will appear in the zones appropriate to that level as well as being centrally located in the Recognition Building in Renaissance Center.
