Overview
The way characteristics work in Champions is much different than in most RPGs. Each stat has its own innate bonuses (please refer to each characteristics page for more detail), similar to other games. However, the damage done by all your attacks, regardless of what framework or individual powers you choose, is effected by your Super Stats. These give a damage bonus (softcapped at 30% each) as you increase them to ALL your powers. Certain powers (notably Healing abilities and Slotted Passive powers) may also garner a benefit specific to that power from one characteristic or other. Each Power Sets has "recommended characteristics," these are usually the characteristics that effect that Power Sets Slotted Passives powers or other powers, however they are by no means required.
